Over the past 7 years we’ve watched Clay go from a talented young kid to a grown man who has become a super star. It’s been like watching a newly mined diamond cut and polished into a multi-faceted gem stone. Simon Cowell said Clay didn’t look like a pop star but at times looks are deceiving.

Voice, confidence, and now soul, handsome, confident, happy. Clay Aiken I am proud of you.
Clay Aiken is absolutely a gem – he has it all. For many years we’ve tried to figure out what it is about Clay – I’ve stopped wondering and I’m just sitting back and enjoying the ride. Whatever “it” is, it just is.
Thank you for posting those videos together! Clay has definitely honed his amazing talent and he is a super star.
The ride from 2003 to 2010 has been a roller coaster ride with so many ups and downs. So many fans have stayed on the ride having faith in Clay and his talent. Looking forward to the PBS special, the tour, and whatever else Clay has up his sleeve.
I’m blown away by the snippets. We’ve wanted to hear something jazzier from Clay and now he’s delivered! He sounds as though he’s sung this type of music for years. He’s really in his element and Decca knows what they have in Clay.
It’s such fun to see these two videos side by side. OBC has grown so magnificently into OMC!
His voice and his stage presence have grown right alongside his super good looks.
And what a handsome man he is. He owns that stage and looks so happy. The voice is stellar. I can’t wait to see the whole thing and see him in concert this summer.
It was really fun to see the side-by-side videos. Clay has always been able to sing, but now his singing is brilliant!!
Thanks for posting this!
Truth,
Great blog! I love your comparison of Clay Aiken, his incredible voice and confidence as a performer, seven years ago and now on the verge of an unbelievable new CD.
Thnx for the neat quote. Have a super weekend!
